Terms of Service

The rules that keep vehicle owners, drivers and corporate clients working together safely and fairly on JiniRide.

Last updated 1 October 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Service form a binding legal agreement between you and JiniRide. They apply to everyone who uses our website, platform, or services — including vehicle owners, drivers, and corporate clients.

By creating an account, listing a vehicle, applying to drive, or otherwise using JiniRide, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

These Terms apply alongside any separate written agreement you sign with us. Where a signed agreement conflicts with these Terms, the signed agreement prevails for that arrangement.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must meet the following conditions to use JiniRide:

  • You are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
  • You provide accurate, current, and complete information, and keep it updated.
  • You maintain the security of your credentials and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • One person or entity may hold only one account. We may suspend duplicate or fraudulent accounts.
  • You may not transfer, sell, or share your account with another person.

3. Vehicle Owners

Our core model is simple: you keep legal and financial ownership of your vehicle, and JiniRide manages and operates it under an agreed monthly arrangement.

  • Registration of a vehicle does not transfer ownership. Ownership and title remain with you throughout the arrangement unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
  • Submitting a listing is an offer to be assessed, not a contract. A vehicle is only placed under management once both parties sign a management agreement.
  • Monthly amounts, payment dates, minimum notice periods, and deductions are set out in your signed management agreement and take priority over anything stated on the website.
  • You must provide a valid registration document, a clear police clearance certificate where required, and any other records we reasonably request for verification.
  • You must not list a vehicle that is subject to an active financing default, is stolen or otherwise unlawfully acquired, or has undisclosed material damage or outstanding legal claims.
  • We may inspect and evaluate a vehicle before making an offer. Inspection outcomes are a commercial judgement and are not a guarantee of acceptance.
  • You must maintain valid third-party motor insurance throughout the arrangement unless the management agreement states that we do so on your behalf.

4. Drivers

Driving with JiniRide is a professional engagement. Drivers join only after identity, licence, permit, and conduct verification is complete.

  • You must hold a valid and appropriate driving licence and any transport or commercial permit required by Pakistani law for the vehicle class you drive.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid CNIC or NIC.
  • You must disclose any medical condition, licence restriction, or pending legal proceeding that affects your ability to drive safely.
  • You must not drive under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that impairs judgment. A zero-tolerance policy applies: any alcohol or drug-related driving breach results in immediate termination.
  • You must treat passengers respectfully, follow the law, and refuse or end any trip that you believe is unsafe.
  • You are responsible for traffic fines and penalties arising from your own driving, except where a management agreement allocates responsibility otherwise.
  • You must keep all vehicle and driver documents current and must not drive a vehicle whose documents have expired.

5. Corporate and Client Bookings

Corporate mobility services are provided under a separate written contract. Where a corporate contract conflicts with these Terms, the corporate contract prevails.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate booking details, including passenger names, contact numbers, pickup and drop-off locations, and approved billing information. Charges arising from incorrect information provided by the client are the client's responsibility.

6. Payments, Payouts, and Fees

Monthly payouts to owners, fares collected from clients, and amounts due to drivers are governed by the applicable signed agreement and the published fare schedule in force at the time of booking.

  • Payouts are made by bank transfer or mobile wallet to the account registered in your profile. You are responsible for entering correct banking details.
  • We may withhold a payout where we are verifying a claim, a complaint, a toll or traffic fine, or a regulatory requirement, and will notify you of the reason.
  • Tolls, parking, fuel, and cleaning charges are passed through only where the applicable agreement says so, and are supported by receipts or records.
  • Any service fee, commission, or management charge is deducted transparently as described in your agreement. JiniRide does not apply undisclosed fees.
  • Amounts are stated in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). Fuel, toll, and statutory charges may change during an arrangement, in which case the updated schedule applies from its effective date.

7. Insurance, Accidents, and Liability

Every vehicle operated on JiniRide must be covered by valid third-party motor insurance throughout the arrangement, and drivers must carry and follow the procedures for the relevant claims. Details of cover, deductibles, and claim handling are set out in the applicable agreement.

  • Report any accident, theft, or damage to JiniRide and your insurer as soon as reasonably practicable. Delay in reporting can affect your claim.
  • Do not admit liability, settle, or repair a claim without authorisation from JiniRide or your insurer, except where immediate action is needed to prevent further harm.
  • You are responsible for the deductible, excess, or uninsured portion of any claim to the extent stated in your agreement, and for losses caused by your own negligence, misconduct, or breach of these Terms.
  • JiniRide is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, lost bookings, or business interruption, except where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You must not, and must not allow anyone acting on your behalf to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information, or impersonate another person.
  • Bypass, tamper with, or attempt to defeat the platform, our verification process, fare records, or any security or tracking system.
  • Discriminate against, harass, threaten, or abuse any driver, owner, client, passenger, or member of our staff.
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose, including trafficking, carrying contraband, or transporting hazardous materials without lawful authorisation.
  • Remove, obscure, or tamper with identification plates, tracking devices, or branding.
  • Publish, post, or distribute content through our platform that is defamatory, obscene, or infringes the rights of others.
  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the website, or attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.

9. Suspension and Termination

Either party may terminate a management, driver, or service arrangement in accordance with the notice period in the applicable signed agreement. Where an agreement is silent, either party may terminate on thirty days' written notice.

We may suspend or terminate your access to JiniRide immediately, without notice, where we reasonably believe that you have breached these Terms or the Privacy Policy, that safety is at risk, or that we are required to act by law.

On termination you must return JiniRide equipment, settle outstanding amounts, and delete or stop using our proprietary materials. Clauses that by their nature should survive termination — including confidentiality, intellectual property, liability, payment obligations, and dispute resolution — continue to apply.

10. Intellectual Property

The JiniRide name, logo, website, application, software, designs, text, and all other content and materials are owned by or licensed to JiniRide, and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view our website and use our services for their intended purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from our materials without our prior written permission. Your licence to use our materials ends when your access is suspended or terminated.

11. Disclaimers

The website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

Website content is general information and does not constitute legal, financial, tax, or insurance advice. Rates, availability, and vehicle information may change without notice — always rely on your signed agreement for the terms that bind you.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JiniRide is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the total amount you paid to JiniRide in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. The courts of Lahore, Punjab have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

Before commencing proceedings, you agree to raise the concern with us first and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve it. We will do the same. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent injunctive or protective relief from a competent court.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised. Material changes will be announced on the website or by email before they take effect.

Where you hold an active signed agreement, we will not change the terms that apply to that agreement retrospectively in a way that reduces your rights or increases your obligations without your written consent.
